Apologizing

Dear faithful blog-readers,

I am sorry for the confusion and excitement I've created this afternoon due to my backdated entry. I wrote "We are going to the zoo" when it should have been "We went to the zoo".

The importance of past and present tense can be clearly explained through this mistake.

The phrase "are going" indicates we are on our way to the zoo while the word "went" indicates that we have been to the zoo sometime back, i.e yesterday or last week.

With that, I hope all students will have a better understanding on the use of tenses.

At the same time, I would like to thank my wife aka my Ang Moh teacher for correcting my mistake. Thank you, Teacher Summer. Next time, when I spot a mistake in your freestyle, I will also tell you.

Best regards
Teacher Jerry
